Hey Everyone! My main question has to do with what to do all day. Usually, we will get up and play. I take him to different parks and we go outside. We have gone to the zoo a couple times. I also an trying to sign up for the local library story time but it fills up quickly and the new sign ups are this week. My husband works quite a bit so it is usually just my son and I. I didn't know what other SAHMs do during the day to keep their little ones entertained. We are new to the area so we aren't really familiar with what's around. I have looked at places like, The Little Gym, Gymboree, etc but they are really expensive and not really in our budget. We used to live in Columbus which had places like Magic Mountain where little kids could climb in tubes, play in the balls, etc but I didn't know if there are any places like that here. Are there any games that toddlers like to play. I can tell my little guy gets bored during the day so any help anyone has would be great:)

What can I do next?

There is a new place in Liberty Twp that is called Bananas and it is a place for the kids to bounce on all different kinds of bounce houses. There is also a place called Kinder Haus off of 747 that used to have craft classes. It was around $4 each time you take them. Not sure fi they are still doing those or not as they tooka break in the month of July and i have been so busy to see if the picked it back up. There are other loctions as well for them but not sure where thay are located at. Off od Cox Rd the are building a Liberty Center where they will be having things for the kids not sure when they will be opening as well. If you like I can look up other things for you as well.

Barnes and Noble does a free story hour on Thursdays and a family member to the Boonshoft (where they have climbing tubes and what not) is like 60 dollars.

A. - You could join the Children's Museum here in Cincinnati (it's a lot like the Boonshoft place in Dayton); you could go to a park; the zoo; join the Countryside YMCA in Lebanon (one of the largest Ys in the US) ... there are a lot of classes to take (and an indoor pool as well as outdoor). If the day is nice and not too hot; you could do nature walks. Also, the Chick-Fil-A in West Chester (off Tylersville Rd.) has an indoor playground that every time we've visited there; there are always other kids there playing. Now that it is getting to be fall; there are a bunch of pumpkin farms you could visit. Unfortunately, I don't get to stay at home with my girls; but these are some things I would do if I could!

Hey A.! I know the days can get long. I don't know if you've already tried but kids love things around the house. I would get big bowels with measuring cups, droppers, spoons, etc. Add some water and see what happens.

Let him explore with paper towel rolls. What can he find that will roll through it?!?!

Clean the house! Give him a rag to clean and dust, a little broom, it will make him feel big.

Go on a nature walk. Take a paper plate with some packaging tape stuck on it so he can collect and stick his treasures on the plate and show daddy when he gets home.

Just some ideas. Have fun!!!!!!
