Anyone have ANY input on this local psychologist before I subject our five year old for the next year of her young life? I have been doing my research homework for weeks now and I've found it really challenging to compare therapists.
My thanks in advance,
C. S.

I recommend Heather Glenn at the Family Tree Center (CCD Counseling) in Lewisville. She is a child therapist and uses play therapy as well as other types. My daughter just LOVED her! ###-###-#### xt 24

If you give us a general idea where you live, maybe someone can recommend someone close to you.

There is nothing saying you have to "stick" to a therapist for a year. IF you don't like a counselor or therapist- switch. If you aren't seeing results- talk to them about it. You can also ago to www.apa.org to find a psychologist.
There is also way to look up licenses on the texas department of health services.
