Every time I come here today, I get that stupid Lysol commercial blaring at me, and it moves to different places on the screen so I have to find it each time to turn the danged sound OFF. It's really irritating. Does anyone 1. LIKE the commercial and are inspired to listen all the way through and buy Lysol? or 2. know how to ask to get them to stop putting ads with sound on Mamapedia? I'm fine with ads. We all have to pay the bills. But just like the pop ups that take over my TV during a movie or have SOUND, I dislike it when the ad is intrusive. Makes me LESS likely to support the product.

I have my work opened in another window and need to hear the ping for when I'm sent a message. I can't turn my volume off!
Talk about getting rid of pesky bugs. We need Lysol for the Lysol commercials. They keep coming on on my computer. Guess I'm done with mamapedia for today.

Yes, I find them extremely annoying. I guess my secret is out. The majority of the ads have no effect on me. Well, I suppose I'll have to turn the volume off on my computer. It will be annoying to have to remember to turn it back on when I need it, but it will be sooooo much better than listening to those dang ads!
NO! This morning was my first time experiencing that and it was SO annoying. I was watching Celebrity Apprentice in another window so I couldn't just mute my computer. I, too, had to search for the ad to turn it off. Grrr...! Even if there is a way to ask them to remove sound ads I bet they won't do it. :(
I don't and won't buy Lysol products. I feel that Lysol is a fear monger. They have people believing that germs are everywhere and we are all a germy mess and will get sick or die if we don't use their products.
Actually the opposite is true. If you sanitize your home all the time your immune system will have nothing to do and will not be able to battle even small illnesses and infections. It can also cause children to develop allergies and be sick all the time.
OMG I was just going to post about this. This is THE last thing I want in the morning before coffee, actually anytime! I think we all need to email Mamapedia RIGHT NOW and tell them we will stop reading this sight if they keep these ads going! I will, I can't stand it!

I hate lysol and ads. Would never ever buy anything so toxic. I rarely buy anything based on ads.
So thankful those ads are not coming onto my computer!
