Thanksgiving Vacation Ideas

Never heard of Atlantis outside of the fabled city that sank.
For us - we enjoy staying home for Thanksgiving.
We cook up a feast and enjoy the day while we're comfortable at home and watching the news about all the horrible holiday traffic - and we're so thankful we're not in the middle of that mess!

Since you enjoy the travel, maybe something in the Caribbean might be fun.

Fall foliage is done by mid Oct. how bout Club Med, Beaches? Atlantis is very expensive. Not sure if they have package deals or not. Somehow I doubt it. I love the Eastern or Southern Caribbean. Enjoy wherever you decide to go.

How about skiing in Colorado? Probably biased, because that's where I'm from.

Maybe a cruise? I've heard Atlantis is expensive but I don't know if it's all inclusive and I've seen lots of commercials for deals at that location. Generally places like that don't offer deals during a holiday though. I am hoping to take hubby to St. John's for his 50th birthday. It's beautiful there.

We love to travel as well. Home is where you are when you're together.

I've heard that Altantis is fantastic - but pricy. What do your kids like to do? We took a vacation a few years ago where we flew into Miami, toured the everglades, and went snorkeling. We stayed down in Key Largo on a beach (it's a short drive from Miami to Key Largo).

I would do a Fall Foliage vacation. Not sure what area would still have lively color that late but maybe somewhere in the mountains that would a corn maze, hay rides, outdoor hikes etc. Love the Fall!!
