I was just wondering if any of you have ever used the Hyland's all natural Teething Tablets. My 19 month old daughter is getting her eye teeth and has been miserable. She already has 13 teeth and they were no problem. These eye teeth are making her cranky and just not a very happy baby. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

So What Happened?

I just wanted to let everyone know that I bought the tablets and have given them to her a couple of times but can't really tell a difference yet. I'm not going to give up though! I'm going to continue giving them to her along with Tylonal or Motrin and see if that helps. Thank you all for your advice!!!!!

Homeopathy is great, but you may have better luck with the full strenght Chamomile homeopathy tablets vs. a combo for the teeth. I get the full strenght children's tablets at the Vitamin Discount stores.

Hi J., i used the hyland teething tablets with my daughter and they seemed to help some. I would crush them in my hand(1-2 tablets) and rub them on her gums. I also put a few crushed up in applesauce or pudding. Good luck, B.

We've used the Hylands teething tablets and I hughly recommend them. They are a miracle worker! And they are teeny tiny tablets that dissolve really fast in the babys mouth. I defintely think you should try them!

Don't know how I would've gotten thru 3 kids without the teething tablets! Not sure how they work, cuz if I try it they don't seem like much but for some reason it soothes the little ones at least for a short time. I know the bottle says to give them just a couple but I've done 10 or so at a sitting and had no side effects from them. The other thing I've done for teething is to stick a wet washcloth in the freezer and let them chew on the frozen rag to ease their pain.

Good Luck!

I used them with my son (now almost 2yrs old), and they worked great! I can't tell you what in them makes them work, but they do. The numbing gels (any brand) didn't work but for the short term (20 minutes max), but the tablets seemed to work for hours. They were great.

I use them with my daughter when ever she is teething. My daughter is 22 months old. When she was about 15 months old she got her two lower laterals and four molars all with in a few weeks of each other! I think they work great. They really seemed to help my daughter get some relief! I didn't want to give her Tylenol all the time and the teething gels she really didn't care for. Hope this helps!

J.,
I used those tablets with all three of my children. They worked wonderfully. None of my children liked all of the other choices. (cold teething ring, stuff to chew on, etc.) There is also a product (sorry, I don't remember the name) that you can rub on the gum of the sore area to make it numb and relieve some of the pain.
Good luck,
M.

Yes! I use those exact ones....my daughter is 17 months old and i've used them ever since she started teething. To her, they're wonderful. I'm not totally positive if they actually work or if its a mental thing for her now that she just thinks she's fine if she gets those. But definitely try them! I've never had any consequences and she uses them alll the time.

I use them for my 10 month old son and think they are great. They make bedtime so much easier (since that is when my son seems to be bothered the most by teething) and I like that if needed, I can give my son Infant Motrin at the same time if needed.

Hi J.,

Yes, I've used the Hylands teething tablets with all 4 of my children and in fact, I'm using them right now with my 9mth old. I've also found that for the more severe cases of teething that I can either give them chammomile tablets (in the homeopathic section at most vitamin shoppes or health food stores) or make up a cup of Chamomile tea and let it cool a bit and put it warm in their bottle for them to drink..it's a great "sleepytime" tea and helps to calm them from the teething. I've also used Calcium Citrate (crush a tablet or open up a capsule) and put it in a small bowl and wet your finger and just rub it under their tongue..my homeopathic doctor recommended this as they are using tons of calcium in their bodies to make those teeth and it helps to replace it when teething and cuts back on crankiness from the pain of getting the teeth. I hope this helps. Feel free to email me if you have any other questions..with 4 kids, I've just about been through every scenario with them. :)

I'm not sure if the tablets ended up working for you or not or if you even need anything still but I use hurricane gel, you have to ask the pharmacist, and it has worked great for all 3 of my kids and for my sisters.

I used them for my son and they worked wonders. He got his first four teeth at the same time and was miserable for days until we tried these tablets. He actually slept through the night the first time we used them. My mother recommended them to me. She owns a GNC and says that a lot of mothers purchase them for their babies.

I used the Teething Tablets for BOTH of my sons (now 4 1/2 and 2 1/2). They were the fastest relief I ever found. Tylenol was great but took time to kick in. The Hyland's were the best because my boys would stop crying LITERALLY seconds after the tabs dissolved in their mouths. I used the tabs on them from the first signs of teething... around 5 months in them both and used them until after their 2-year molars came in. They were our lifesavers. I put them in EVERY package for every baby shower I go to. I always say, I know it'll still be a few months before you need these but I PROMISE you'll thank me later! Everyone I know loves them. I think I'm sounding like a commercial, so I'll stop. Just wanted to be sure to endorse them. They are the best.

We used them and they were awesome. They did make Sullivan a little tired but he wasn't cranky and didn't seem to have too much problem cutting teeth. My step sister used them even more than we did and she swore by them...but I think her mom gave them to her son just to make him sleep...which I wouldn't advise. They are supposed to be all natural so that was a major plus. I had a hard time finding them so I actually ordered them online and got a little better price...don't remember where from though. Also Sullivan thought they were a treat, like candy, so I had no problem getting him to take them. Good luck. :0)

Unfortunately, I was not told about them until all my daughter had left were her molars. Fortunately, I had them for her molars. She knew that she could let me know her teeth were hurting her and she would get a couple tablets to ease the pain.

They also last! My daughter is now two and a half and finished teething about several months ago. My son, now almost six months, is using them at the hard times with his teeth. He is about to cut his first and these have been great to ease the pain, even in the gums before they were close to surfacing.

I would highly recommend these. Just, if your child wants to spit them out, like my son does, be sure to stick them far into the cheek as you would with liquid oral meds. This way, by the time they figure out that it is there and how to get it to the front of their mouth to spit it out, it has already dissovled and is working to ease their tender gums.

May God bless you!

I have a son who will be 3 next month. He got his two bottom teeth at 3 months old and the baby oragel used to make him angry and cry constantly because it would numb his whole mouth and throat and he didnt like that. So I asked the doctor if he could use those teething tablets and she said yes. I have got to say those are miracle workers. I tasted one and it tastes just like sugar and did not numb my tongue. I have noidea how they work but they do and I love them.

I love teething tablets. I used them with my older child and am now using them with my son. During the worst of the teething I would pair it with tylenol and as my mom called it, it worked like "miracle medicine." My daughter always cut at least 2 teeth at a time so this was a must have in our house. The numbing gels didn't work for her. Also, I know that Hyland's has come out with a gel for teething. I'm not sure who carries it, but that might be worth checking into as well. It came out after my daughter was done teething and I haven't found it yet for my son.

100% ABSOLUTELY
they work, they work MIRACLES
I used a different brand, Humphrees I think was the name, but three of those little bad boy pills that dissolve and Celeste was calm and sweet again. When she turned one, she had all her teeth except for the two yr old molars so...we had serious teething drama.
