Teething does do that........then the tooth breaks through and you have another break of time. I did not care for the oral gels for my kids......
but some think it works. Sorry can't be more of help.

Yes.My 6 month old is going through this! She slept great just last month. Her first tooth cut through a few days and she is starting to sleep better now.I use hylands teething tablets someone got us a baby shower gift, and they work great! Hope you and your little one find relief soon!! Good luck :)

Nope I never had this. MY son started teething about that time but only woke once in the night for his binky. Now he is 7 months and has two teeth. My son still sleeps a full night.

That happens and it stinks. I have a friend who swears by those amber teething necklaces. Stay away from the Hylands teething tablets--I've heard they are not standardized and you could get a dose that is unsafe and harm has come to some babies this way.
Also, if you find that your baby is OK when you pick him up but then starts screaming the second he lays down, this could be indicative of an ear infection--they hurt more at night and when you are lying down. If you end up taking him in and he has one, consider chiropractic before antibiotics. Seriously, even on an infant. It's fantastic. And Herbs for Kids makes a willow/garlic oil for the ears that soothes and stops pain as soon as it hits the ear drum. Great to try before busting out the tylenol. Blessings!
