Teething tablets saved my life when my boys were teething and worked great with my nieces and nephews as well. Good luck
I know they say to give them something cold, but she hates that. She wont sleep, even on tylenol, her nursing is fussy, and I'm about to pull my hair out! It's 5:30, and she hasn't napped all day! Any handy advice??????? I'll try anything!
Thanks for all of the great advice. We woke up this morning, and after wet washcloths, teething tablets, and finally tylenol, she has a new pearly white. She got it during the night, and didn't even wake up for it! She has another one, right next to the new one about to make it's debut, so keep us in your prayers. ;)

Hi Bethany, my son started teething at 4 months also and we used Hylands Teething tablets. They are homeopathic and really worked to calm our little one down. I find them at Walmart and Walgreens. Good luck!
When my daughter was teething, the only thing that worked for us was the teething tablets.
Oh I feel your pain. My son started teething at 4 months and Tylenol was a joke. I tried everything and I think the teething tablets worked the best. My son does not do well with pain so every tooth has been a struggle for us. Now that he can have Motrin (which works so much bettet) we can manage a little better, but he still wakes up screaming in the middle of the night for weeks until the tooth appears. He is a year now and he has eight teeth I will have a party once they all come in :)!
Hyland's teething tablets! They are miracle workers! I thought the end was never going to come (my daughter is 5 months old and seems to have gotten through the first "round"). Just stick with her, the end is in sight. I know it is so hard.
The teething gels made me a little nervous because they actually numb the gum. Hylands is all natural so it is very safe for your sweet baby girl. Good luck to you!

The joys of teething.....and too bad they go on for many more months :( I know you mentioned your little one doesn't like cold things, but what about just a wet wash cloth. Both of my kids just liked chewing/sucking on them, especially during bath time. This might relieve some of the pain. Seems like chewing on just about anything and everything helped relieve the discomfort from teething and also helped the teeth cut through the gums.
Also, orajel might work. It wasn't a huge help for us though. And she might be fussy during nursing and refuse to nap b/c the sucking hurts her gums and/or ears. Hope she doesn't have ear infection too.
Best of luck. Hang in there!
Hyland's teething tablets. Natural and a miracle!
