Our pastor's daughter is turning 16 and I am in desperate need of a "great" gift idea.
She is one of the sweetest, mature young ladies I have been blessed to have in my life.

She is so much more to our family. She babysits for us, she is SO good with our kids; they just adore her.

We would really like to do something special for her, but we have no ideas.
I know I could do a clothes gift card, money...I was hoping you ladies had some great suggestions. :)

What can I do next?

T. - You might want to consider these gift cards I use. They are gift cards, but basically give the person a number of items to choose from. They don't pay anything, shipping, extra money because what they want isn't enough.

Hi,
One of my best friends daughters just turned 16 and I found a pretty frame that said "Sweet 16" and I put a picture of her and friends on our last cruise having a fun time in the frame. I also put 16 - $1.00 bills rolling each $1.00 bill up with curly ribbon and a bow. I put all of it in a gift bag and I think it was cute.

I recommend a company called "Frame It" ###-###-####. I hope you are able to find just what you are looking for!

I would give her a necklace or something you can engrave a message on, she'll keep it for the rest of her life.

She is at that age where she might enjoy a mature ladylike gift. I would reccommend a gift certificate for a massage, manicure and pedicure or a facial. I know I would have loved that at the age of 16, they are really starting to take an interest in their body, appearance and stuff. I think those are good mature gifts, but not your typical money, jewelry etc. that she would expect.

I would maybe go to James Avery and get her a charm bracelet or something. You can let your kids pick one out for her so its real personal and its something that other people can add to as well.

True, the gift cards, $$$ and especially Itunes is a hit at my house.

As for something sentimental....how much $$$ do you want to spend? A nice necklace, bracelet, charm or something like that. My daughter loves her journal.
