Super Supportive Sports Bra Needed

Hey ladies, I took up running in February and I'm in love with it! The sports bra that I'm currently wearing is about 15 years old and I'm having a horrible time finding another one. I'm a 36DD and I've nursed two babies so I've lost a lot of elasticity and need a super supportive sports bra. I'm having a difficult time finding that size in stores. I can order online but then I don't have any idea if it's truly going to fit until I get it and really want to avoid the aggravation. Any suggestion as to where I can find a good one?

Hi K., being a somewhat big breasted woman myself, when I took up running, I had to get the support needed too!! I wear Moving Comfort Bras, the Helena ones http://www.movingcomfort.com/product/120385/350014/_/Hele... not in purple but you get the idea, that's the most supportive one I've found, and I've tried the Oprah Bra lol This one worked the best, my DD girls stay in place when I run with this. Go to sport chalet or something like that and try some out, jump around and stuff, you'll see. I've been looking online and I can see that Moving Comfort have new styles, you can look those up too, they look very nice and look like they have lots of support for the girls.

Good luck and good for you for starting to run, I started only 5 years ago and have run a marathon already, it's awesome!

M.

Hello, I don't run but I do use a large size bra. I go to a store in Sherman Oaks, A Private Affair. This is the classic fitting store where you will be measured and fitted for the perfect bra. They also have a store in Thousand Oaks. If you go on their website they have coupons and specials. Hope this helps.

Check out Title Nine: www.titlenine.com. I know you said you are hesitate about an on-line resource, but they rate their sports bras by how supportive (or not) they are (they use barbells -- 3+ barbells is super supportive). They have great ways to measure and a great return policy (and no, I don't work for them or get a commission :).

Even if you don't order from them, you can check it out to see which ones are rated most supportive.
