Sippy Cup Recommendations ~ with a Straw

Hi, I am looking for a new sippy cup. We had one with a silicone straw and it did not last long. We do have a Born Free sippy cup that we love but it does not have a straw and I am looking for one with a straw, non-silicone. Has anyone used those thermos looking sippy cups? Are they worth the money? What else have you used that you liked?

Thanks!!

I just bought 2 of the metal thermos sippys with straws at Target. They seem to work great. They are normally $15.99 but I got them on clearance for $8. I don't think all characters are on clearance, but if you're not too picky you could probably still find them. They were in the section with the backpacks. Hopefully they still have them.
Good luck!

We used a take-and-toss straw cup and it worked well. It's basically like a regular straw in a cup, so no weird valves, etc.

Hi Jennifer,

I LOVE my cup- it's a straw cup from The Container Store. It came with a snack cup attached on the bottom, which we use all the time (not necessarily attached though). I love it because it's a hard straw so my 11 1/2 month old son who chews everything can't chew through this straw. He would not take any sippy cup at all but once I tried this- BINGO! We use it all the time and I love it. There's so many choices out there (sometimes too many!)- good luck! :)

I forgot my daughter's cup one hot day and stopped at the store for one. I got the Playtex sippy. I also have the Munchkin one's. The thing I really prefer about the Playtex is that the top has a piece that slides down instead of popping out so no lose of it when cleaing. And it really is leakproof. We have had it for about 8 months and no problems. I use pipe cleaners to clean the inside of the straw so it doesn't get nasty.
