Seeking Reliable Evening Babysitter 1 Night a Week

I am wondering if anyone is interested in or knows someone who would be interested in babysitting 1 night a week? I am a single mother, with no immediate family in Illinois. I am currently working part-time towards my MBA, while holding down a full-time job. With very few friends in the area, it is hard to find a good, reliable baby-sitter. I need someone who can commit to watching my daughter the one-night a week until June 2007 (which is when I graduate).

She is currently being watched by her daycare provider, but I would like to switch her to pre-school. If I do take her out of her current provider's daycare, I am afraid she will no longer be willing to watch my daughter in the evening. I would really like for her to be around more kids her age (preschool) - but I don't want to have to drop out of school to do so. I am kind of in a catch 22 - so to speak.

If anyone is interested or willing, please let me know and we can discuss further.

Could you give more detials? What night of the week and which area? Do you prefer that the baby sitter comes to your place or is it OK if you take your son to hers?
I have a great neighbor who takes care of her grandkids during the day but would do occasional babysitting for others at nights or over the weekends.
