Seeking Moms Groups in McKinney, Texas

There are several local MOPS groups (mothers of pre schoolers). Three I am aware of are through First Baptist and Trinity Presbyterian Churches. You might try to get plugged in that way.

I joined the stroller strides here in McKinney and they have a Luna Moms club associated with it (http://www.meetup.com/allenmckinneystrollerstrides/). You can join the mom's group without doing Stroller Strides. I'm really enjoying the moms and the variety of activities they have planned. I have a 2.5 year old and a 17 month old so I think the activities would be appropriate for your kiddos too.

Hey H.! You sound a lot like me. I have a 4yo (will be 5 in a few weeks) and a 4 month old (who thinks he's going on a year already). I live in Regent's Park. Which "village" do you live in? I'm in a couple of groups, but the one that's centered in this area is the Sassy Sisterhood of Moms through meetup.com. It has a lot of nice moms and kids in it and quite a few that live in SBR. Is your 4yo a boy or girl? Maybe we could get together sometime? Where'd you move from?

Yay for Stroller Strides and Luna Moms in McKinney. I've been part of this group for almost a year now. Everyone is very nice and very down to earth. I've been a slacker for a couple of months now (I went back to work full-time and I just can't seem to get back on track with Stroller Strides) and I really do miss the ladies from this group! Leslie, the instructor for Stroller Strides, is amazing and she really does know how to make you workout! She's always there for any one of us and I can tell you that she really does care about us and our babies. The rest of the ladies are amazing and just too much fun.
I hope that you come out for a workout and get to meet everyone. I really can't say enough awesome things about this group!! :)

Welcome to McKinney! We have lived in Stonebridge for almost 10 years now and we love it! I have a little girl who is 3 1/2 and my son will be 1 on Thanksgiving. Maybe we could get together sometime.
