I'm trying to lose that last 15 lbs after my second son. I used to work out and walk with my husband, but now one of us has to watch the kids! I'd like to start walking or jogging early in the morning or at night, but I don't want to go by myself. It's not safe and is more fun with someone else. All the Moms I meet seem to have a schedule that conflicts with mine. I'd love to organize a group for Moms to meet and walk and run and do activities like that to get active, get fit, lose weight. Does anyone know of a group like this? Anyone interested if I start one? :)

If you're looking for a place to start or join a walking/running group...go to www.seemommyrun.com. It is a non-profit organization and it has a pretty extensive list for Florida with a good number in the Tampa Bay area. :)
I have a membership at Lady of America in NPR and am looking for a work-out partner. If you may be interested feel free to call me for more information. It's all a women-only gym that has daycare included in the price. Its about $30 a month. I usually go after I take my oldest to Kindergarten. Good-luck to you!

That sounds like a great idea, how far into NPR are you located? My only problem is getting up before I have to leave for daycare/preschool. I really can't travel to far to go for a walk but if you are not too far I might consider it. Let me know, I am in Holiday next to the Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks.
