I am a working mother- and also found challenges in looking for play groups and interactions with other mothers who work (inside or outside of home). I have had the pleasure of meeting some other Moms who work. I live in New Braunfels and we often connect on weekends. Feel free to send me a message if you are interested in talking more.

The meetup.com site that was mentioned is a great location to find groups. I know that there are several in your area. :)

If I were looking to get in a group for working Moms, I would ask around at the local daycare centers (kids+working Moms!) First of all, decide what you are looking for...playdates, social clubs etc. Then ask if you can put up a flyer asking for interested Moms or current groups. Maybe even the daycare providers would be able to facilitate that with other Moms who have their children there. Good luck.

I am part of a group called cafemom.com, they have all kinds of groups, but there is one group that is working moms. You might want to check it out, I have met some really neat women from this group. good luck

I haven't really looked for any groups, but I'm interested in joining a play group. I have a 11 month old boy and I live in Converse. I'm also a working mom. Let me know if you are getting a group together.

what about your local churches? they usually have lots of stuff going on! Plus you will meet quality people! I live in Boerne, not far from you and there is a "first united methodist church" here that always has lots of stuff going on. also the "Max Lucado" church on I10 in fairoaks! Good luck!

I belong to a wonderful group of working moms ... infants to early elementary school with most of the kids in the toddler/preschooler age range. We get together as a big group once a month on a weekend day and then frequently smaller groups will do things that particularly interest them. There are maybe 7-8 of us who regularly attend the events and then another 5-6 who show up less often. It's a good-sized group and we have moms from all kinds of professions.

What kind of "group" are you looking for? Are you looking for social groups, opportunity groups...... bascially, what is your purpose in searching for a group?

Have you tried cafemom.com? They have many different groups including ones for working moms. Some of them are just for online groups and others do meet in person so you would have to look at the options depending on what you're looking for. Are you working from home or out of the home? If you work from home or have a small business another group is SAWAHM.com. They meet once a month for networking meetings and to share ideas. You may want to check back on meetup.com occasionally. I have joined two groups through that and met some amazing people. If they don't currently have a working mom group in your area they may in the future. I hope this helps. Good luck with your search!
