I am searching for a talented hair stylist in the Spring area - someone who specializes in short cuts. I am needing a change from my current stylist and would love some someone to refer me to someone they really like. I would like to get in soon, so if it is someone who is fairly easy to get in with it would be a plus! Thanks so much!

So What Happened?

Thank you all for your suggestions for stylist in the Spring area. I ended up going to Salon Matos and absolutely loved it! It is a fun and modern salon across from the Barbara Bush Library on Cypresswood. I am very pleased and would recommend it to anyone! Audra cut my hair and she is super talented. Thanks again to you all! I greatly appreciate it!

I am a HUGE fan of a place called SoQ Salon on 2920 that is located in a Mobil gas station strip center. Sounds weird...but they are good! They are brother and sister and both came from Tony and Guy and are not expensive either.

Hi there. For the past ten years my husband and I both have been going ONLY to Yada Salon. The owner and main stylists name is Yada and she's great. She's easy to get in with too. Her salon is at Louetta Rd. & Champions Forest Drive. If your on Louetta coming from 249, it's on the left. Coming down Louetta from I-45, it's on the right. You can find her number on Yahoo Yellowpages under Yada Salon or Yada's Salon. Sorry, I didn't have her number on me or I would have given it to you. Good luck, I know finding a stylist you like is a nightmare, but I totally trust her and have for years.

I've been going to McKenzie at Salon Matos for over 3 years now. She's great, the salon is lively, and modern. McKenzie is confident with what she's doing, and that makes a big difference. I just sit in the chair and I don't look up until she's done. One time she didn't take off enough and when I came home and tried to restyle it on my own a week later, I realized that my hair still had too much volumme (I have thick hair), I called and they got me back in and she fixed it up no problem. And she was so OK with it,didn't take it personal that I had asked for a redo. I just cut 4 inches off this past weekend. I called on Saturday and got an apptmt on Sunday. So they are very accomodating. I highly recommend it. They are on Cypresswood right across from the Barbara Bush liabary.

I have a very good stylist. Not sure if it's exactly in the Spring area though. She is at Spring-Cypress and 249. Her name is Meagan Matone and since I have found her I will not go to any body else. The salon that she works at is called Salon Metro. It is a Paul Mitchell salon so it is a little high on price, but new clients get like 10 - 15% off of first visit on any service. Their phone number is ###-###-####. If you go, please tell her that you heard of her from me. My name is Pamela and tell her that I have a daughter named Jayde, and should know who you are talking about. Good luck at finding someone.

If you're actually in Spring, it may be a little far, but my stylist is fabulous! Amanda is at Sedora Salons on Jones & Cypress N Houston. I've had short hair for 10+ years, and she is the first to really get it right.

Feel free to PM me, and I will get you her contact info if you're interested.

I love my stylist, See, and have been going to her for 2+ years. Not only does she do a good job with my shorter hair, but my hair is wavy, and my daughters is ultra curly. See can be contacted at ###-###-####, and works out of a small shop, Hair 4 You located close to Cypresswood and Kuyhkendahl. She is very flexible with her hours, so easy to get into quickly.

I have been seeing a stylist for the past 20+ years. She is really talented and cuts my hair exactly the way I want it (I have short hair). Her name is Susan Gumina. Her shop is located in a building at 5915 Louetta between Stuebner-Airline and Kuykendahl. Give her a call ###-###-####). I don't know how easy it is to get in to see her, but I've never had a problem.

S., don't know if you've found a stylist as of yet, but I may have someone for you. I rent office space within Tuscany Salons & Spas, located on Louetta near 249/Vintage Park area. Within that office, I get my short, very curly and tricky hair cut by a lady named Sharon LaGreca.

There are several other great stylists there: Chris Gangi, Shelly, Juan Carlos....

Tuscany is located at 8611 Louetta Road in Spring TX 77379. Main # is ###-###-####.

Hi S.,
I go to Willowbrook Visible Changes..the stylist's name is Jessica. I went from long hair (middle of my back) to one of the stacked bobs - neckline. I love it and would recommend her to anyone. I believe her cut & style is $30.
