Seeking Good Hair Place for My 2 Year Old Girl

It's finally time for my 2 year old to get her 1st hair cut. Does anyone know of a good place to go in the Plano/Allen area?

We go to The Kid Salon in Allen. It is located in the NW shopping center at Main and Allen Heights. We see Mrs. AMy who is the owner. She is very sweet and patient with the kids. (She cuts mom's hair too!) My daughter was 3 before we had her hair cut. They take a picture and have a little souvenier folder for their first haircut. I think we pay $13 or $14. I can't remember.

I like Cool Cuts for Kids... in Allen, at 75 and McDermotte... (In the Target parking lot... kind of in back of McDonalds). They will take a picture and give you the hair clippings. There is also one at
Park and Preston in Plano.

Cool cuts for kids in the shopping center at 75 and McDermott does a good job, and they have little car seats for them to sit in and movies to watch while it is all being done. They also have a train table in the waiting area.

My daughter has been getting her hair at Sharky's since she was one. She is now 22 months and loves watching Elmo while they mess with her hair. They will even cut their hair while she sits on your lap. She is more still there then when I comb her hair at home! It is a bit pricey.. $18 for a cut and $5 for a bang trim.

I go to Cheryl Miller at Designs by Cheryl. (She just got married, so she may be going by Cheryl Hope now...I have an old business card and never asked if she kept her last name or not.) She at 15th & Custer in Salans Unique. I have a picture of my daughter in the spring before her haircut and she looks like a baby. Then I have one of her in the fall after her haircut. She looks like a little girl. The difference was amazing. My family was so surprised at the transition.

Kids Cut located at HWY 5 and Bethany did a really good job on my grandsons first haircut. They have cars the kids sit in and they have a video going. They also do pictures of the first haircut and print it out like a scrapebook page. The cost is a little expensive (16.00) but it was a really fun time for my grandson.
