I'm looking for recommendations on a dentist for my husband and I who are both frightened of bad dentists. Seeking gentle, honest dentist that doesn't find a million things wrong in your mouth. Willing to travel a bit but looking in and around Bartlett, Schaumburg, Winfield, Bloomingdale, etc.

My family has been going to Dr. Richard Shay in Roselle on Irving Park Road for about 6 years now. He was the first dentist that my now 10 year old daughter saw. He was very gentle and explained everything as he went to her to help get through the experience without a problem. Not sure if he is accepting new patients or not, but he is great.

Ralph and Rosanne DeRango -- DeRango and DeRango Dentistry in Bartlett. Dr. Rosanne is a friend of a friend, and she is honest, caring and a good dentist. I haven't gone to her husband, but I've heard he is good too. I would highly recommend them. ###-###-####
our dentist is in st. charles on the east side. Dr. Robert Overdorf. Our whole family goes to him and the kids started when they were barely 2! they are now 19 and 13.
I'm a big fan of Dr. Dan Hilo. I've only been to him twice, but really liked him.
