Seeking Cloth Diaper Deals/Sales

I would like to buy about a dozen one-size pocket diapers of different kinds, maybe some Happy Heinys Snaps, Tiny Tush, and Fuzzi Bunz or BumGenius. I keep checking DiaperPin sale announcements, DiaperSwappers, and the primary CD outlets online, only to discover their 10% off plus package deal savings are wiped out by shipping costs. Can anyone recommend a diaper site that has really good deals? The diaper shop in town, The Little Seedling, never puts diapers on sale, so the only advantage of buying dipes there is not paying shipping. Is it possible to get a deal on cloth diapers? Note: Please don't spam me with your WAHM ads. I'm really only interested in the above brands right now.

What can I do next?

I use www.abbyslane.com She has amazing shipping and customer service. Join her yahoo group for a % off discount. She only sends out an email about once a week and they're good ones :) Feel free to tell her I sent you if you do decide to shop there. She also has a referral program. ____@____.com I do believe she has Bumgenius packages and her shipping should be free if you buy one. I haven't bought diapers in awhile though. My daughter just finished up needing them.

welcome to the wonderful world of cloth diapers and good luck bargain hunting! Also if you want to be frugal have you thought about prefolds and covers? They're very simple and there are some great covers out there. Please send me a message if you have any questions! Also Stephanie at abbyslane is great with advice.

eBay has some great deals but they changed their policy and they do NOT sell used cloth diapers on there. I would check some of the MI websites- Tree City, Green Island, Z Bear Diapers. Also www.jilliandrawers.com is great, and if you email them, they will probably give you a free shipping code.

Check out www.clothdiaperclearance.com (through nickisdiapers.com). They have good prices on seconds and relatively cheap shipping. Nicki's Diapers has free shipping on all pocket diapers (first quality) and the old-style Fuzzi Bunz one size are on sale for 16.95. Also, kellyscloset.com offers used diapers and seconds when they're available plus they offer a "sampler" package of different types on AIOs or pockets. You might also find some listed on Craigs List. My daughter has really chunky legs so I've found the Fuzzi Bunz to be the best with Happy Heinys second and Bum Genius third (they leave red marks on her legs). Good luck!

Check Craigslist. There are quite a few people that have websites that sell these brands and since they are not high volume sellers they tend to put them on sale quite often.

Take a look at used ones on ebay or something. Just wash them, and hang dry them in the sun to naturally bleach them. I remember seeing kits to make your own on ebay. You could fashion them after the brand you like best. I made mine like my fav brand, then changed the things i didn't like. I added gussets, gave some a polar fleece pocket, and made a few hemp diapers, and doublers to stuff in it.
Good luck, A. H

I've seen quite a few on craigslist too. Some are people selling their used diapers and others are from businesses.

We use JSB cloth diapers on our 20 month twin boys and LOVE them. The patterns are so cute, we have had minimal leaks and almost no blowouts, and the customer service is great.

They have a 30 day money back guarantee- meaning you can try cloth diapers with no risk. An individual diaper with two microfiber inserts runs $13- which is a great price. They also have upgrade options with hemp and bamboo inserts. Personally, I like the microfiber inserts the best.

L.; i dont know i have not used those brands however i did use cloth diapers but the flat ones, and i folded my own, and used them to me they worked great, and they were easy to clean cause they would be flat, and easier to rinse, they do still sell them at walmart or target stores, or any store even meijers would have them most people use them as burp cloths which works really well too, well sorry i was not much help hang in there, and any cloth diaper would be cheaper then buying a pack of diapers every 3-4 days, congrats and have a wonerful day D. s

Hi. I just wanted to let you know that I did tons of research when I was expecting and found that most sites (for the brands you mentioned) were all about the same price. I ended up getting mostly fitteds with covers to save some money and use Happy Heiny's for at night. They were my favorite and I got them at The Little Seedling on sale (it was around Christmas). I figured since most stores had similar pricing, I preferred to buy from a local store. Keep my money in Michigan! I looked on ebay- but I couldn't do used diapers. Good luck.
