My son is 4 and I need a Pre-K program or Mother's Day out 3 days as week. Not able to spend to much I'm a stay at home mom. I want him to be ready for Kindergarten next year. My 6 year old is moving to first grade, we had a hard time with school this last year, so I want my 4 year old to be ready.
I used to live in the parkwood Hill neighborhood and all of my mom friends in that area have taken thier kids to tree top preschool they love it. Good Luck

My sister owns the TeachMart down at the corner of Beach and Basswood just a couple of minutes from you. Her name is Jennifer and she would be a great resource to ask about this. Just stop into the store and tell her that S. sent you. :) Lots of teachers and moms shop there and they all have lots of great input on schools and MDO/PreK, etc. Jenn used to live in your neighborhood (Park Glen in N Fort Worth, right? - near Bluebonnet Elem.)
Maybe there would even be some fun and easy things you could do with him at home that would be even less expense. Hope you find just what you are looking for!

Harvest Christian Child Development Center on Denton Hwy has one of the best programs in the DFW area. It is an ACSI accreditated preschool which means they have gone a step further than most preschool programs to provide a quality program. http://www.hcdc.org
You can try Corner Stone Baptist (off of Beach between Basswood and Tarrant), Light of World (on Tarrant past Beach), Heritage Church of Christ (off Heritage Trace Parkway), NFW Baptist (off of I-35) I am not sure how much each cost, but Heritage is around 150.00 a month and Light of world is 12.50 each day util noon if they stay until 2:00 then it jumps to 25.00 a day. Best of luck finding a preschool.

My son attended Young Children's World at Richland Hills Church of Christ last year. He loved it, and so did I. It is Mon/Thur. from 9-2. The cost is $150 per month, plus there is a $25 registration fee as well as a $60 supply fee. It is off of 820 and Rufe Snow area (across from Sam's). Good luck to you!
