I highly suggest Dr. Paul Fleiss, who was recommended to us by our amazing midwife, Tonya Brooks. Dr. Fleiss is truly one of the most amazing pediatricians my husband and I have ever met! He grants so much kindness to children and has such a big heart. We love that he passionately advocates nursing, and our son, Dylan Orion, loves him and his staff.

I would also recommend Dr. Paul Fleiss here in Los Feliz! He's such a nice man. My son took to him right away! :-)

I have a 13 yr old daughter also, but she has and chooses not to have a myspace account. She is very intelligent (book smart) for her age, but not very street savvy. But, I realize she is only a CHILD and she needs a mother to be just that. It's my responsibility to keep her safe. Yes, she does go on-line, but goes to a place made for kids. I beleive it's called Gaiaonline.com and she's ok with that. Granted predators are everywhere, so that's were I come in. There are places other than myspace she can visit that are more appropriate. I think you should stick to your guns and not open her an account.

We take our little one, 6 1/2 months old, to Dr. George Nakashima downtown on 3rd St. We really like him so far. He seems to be a real advocate for the child. I will say, though, that we have been lucky enough not to have any real problems so far, so we have yet to put him to the test. We are also happy with his partner, Dr. Inouye (een-oh-way). I've recommended him to another Mom who was looking for a pediatrician and she was able to get an appointment within a week.
