Looking for a Great Pediatrician in Sherman Oaks Area.

I am pregnant and have begun the search for a great pediatrician. For my own health, I have sought out physicians and health care providers who strike a balance between Western and Eastern medicine. I am looking for the same philosophy in a pediatrician. Based on my research so far, the pediatricians that seem the most like minded are Dr. Paul Fleiss, Dr. Jay Gordon and (thought not a pediatrician) Dr. Lauren Feder. I am still doing research on vaccinations, but know, at the most, I will delay or stagger them. Has anyone found a like minded pediatrician they LOVE in the Sherman Oaks area? Thanks in advance! (One more thing... a doctor who has separate sick and well rooms would be a major plus.)

Y., CONGRATULATIONS on the GOOD NEWS! : )

I know you are in Sherman Oaks, but I highly recommend Dr. Paul Fleiss, who was recommended to us by our amazing midwife, Tonya Brooks. Dr. Fleiss is truly one of the most amazing pediatricians my husband and I have ever met! He grants so much kindness to children and has such a big heart. We love that he passionately advocates nursing, always recommends natural remedies, and highly supports our decision not to vaccinate or circumcise our dazzling son, Dylan Orion, who so loves him and his staff. He also has separate sick and well rooms.

first off I'd like to congratulate you on your little blessing. I have an amazing pediatrician. Her name is Dr. Sloan Sevran, she is located in Encino. She is very open minded and supports any decisions you chose to make regarding your child's care. Her motto is "she will treat your child as if he/she is her own." She is open to how you want to deal with vaccinations. she is warm, friendly and very welcoming, she has seperate well/sick rooms. Her office staff is great. If you call and wish to speak with her, she takes your call, and if busy calls you right back. I searched my whole pregnancy for a pediatrician and she was the winner. She offers same day appts and is open on Saturday's. My son is 7 and a half months and absolutly loves her. He has a few complications and through it all she has been amazing and very supportive. And on top of his care.
