Sea World Orlando FL, Enough to Do for My Boys?

Hello - My husband and I would like to actually go somewhere on vacation this year instead of renting a cabin. He suggested Sea World in Orlando. Has anyone been there? I am wondering if it will be fun for both boys with such an age difference. Any advise or a suggestion on somewhere else to go that would be better? Thanks!

What can I do next?

Mhy family went to Fl. a couple of years ago when my kids were similar in age as yours. This was by far one of our favorite trips. When we booked our trip to Seaworld we included the vip behind the scenes package. Besides getting on rides first you also get to feed peguins, eat lunch by Shamu, and have a guided trip through the park. SeaWorld also has a great Luai that compares to the one in DisneyWorld.
I think your kids would also like Universal Studios two parks.
Disney is a little more for younger kids. I hope this helps you out. M. A.

I think your boys would LOVE Seaworld, as well as you and your husband. The shows are very funny and the exibits interesting to anyone just a tiny bit interested in animals. I went to seaworld in high school and really enjoyed it. So, I don't think it's below your teenager. As a teacher of kids age 6-9 years, I think your younger would love it too. They usually so interested in animals (the biggest, smallest, and strangest!!).
Hope you enjoy your vacation together, whatever you choose!

L.,
I'm a little biased because I LOVE SeaWorld, but I'd guess your boys would like it just fine! My family and I have gone twice, once when my kids were 12 and 14, then again this summer at 15 and 17. If you are there for a whole day, you can schedule out all the shows and walk around and see the animal exhibits. If you are there for two days, you will have a more relaxed time seeing the shows and the animals (a couple shows are only at night). There are plenty of other attractions in the area (oops, I see that you said Orlando, not San Diego) - but that's still true. Even if you got down there with no set schedule, you'd find lots of things to do, and the coupon books you can get in your hotel room are very helpful too. The (cheesy, yet fun) Pirate Adventure or Arabian Knights Dinner Adventures are really fun, go to any of the web sites (like Cheap Tickets) for Orlando and you'll see tons of options.
Have fun!
K.

We just got back from Sea World. Was the best ever! I have 3 year old Twin Girls. We saw all the shows which where amazing. Great for all ages. They have a nice size play area, rides & games. The best part is once you buy a ticket you can come back within 6 days on the same ticket. So it's worth the price and 2 days is nice to see it all. We loved Shamu saw it both days and it was different shows. Also feed & pet Dolpins. A must see & do.
