So we are heading to Fl and are doing a big disney vacation. I wanted to try to visit sea world while we were there. Have you been to sea world? what can i expect while there? Is it like an aquarium or more like a theme park? Is it too much to try to shedule this along with the disney thing? Is it worth the cost????? thanks for any help you can give me

What can I do next?

we went to sea world on our Disney vacation too and loved it! I would make sure you schedule a day at Sea world. My kids wanted to go back before we headed for home but there was no time. It is an aqarium and theme park with tons of really cool shows and interactive exhibits. You don't want to miss it. We used to have a sea world in Ohio when I was a kid and I wish it was still here.... my kids loved it so much they are asking to go back. Even more than they talk about Disney. They are 4 6 and 10. I can give you more specific info if you need it just send me a person message. Hope this helps :)

I LOVE Sea World. I think that it is definitely worth the money!!!

My advice would be to go to the earliest whale show that you can...that way if you love it and want to see it again you can go back for another one later in the day.

Hi, my daughter is 7. We live about 30 min away from Seaworld. It's alot of fun. They do have some kiddie rides - they have the shamu roller coaster for the 4-10 age range. Plus a couple bigger roller coasters....everything else is great though. Like the previous poster said, you can feed the dolphins, pet sting rays....feed the sea lions - it's alot of fun. But one thing, it is typically less crowded than Disney BUT if you are going during a high peak time be prepared for Seaworld to be "almost" just as crowded.

sea world is sorta a theme park definetly more then an aquarium. depending on your kids ages if they are teenagers i would opt for universal studios instead but if they are under 12 then sea world is definetly worth the money. they have this HUGE play area that is a kids dream!!! i use to live in orlando and had season passes and would go almost weekly just for the play area cause it kicks butt:). you can pet sting rays, dophins, shows that are really good and a couple of ride type things. its alot less crowded then disney so after a couple of days in the busy disney scene a nice calm day at sea world might be worth it.

I prefer Sea World to Disney. Sea World is much closer to educational, but it is a haul from Anaheim. If you are staying in anaheim, you will need a hotel in San Diego too. It is expensive, less than Disneyland, but still not cheap. No rides, but they have a beer garden which makes up for it from the parent side
