My son was playing with an activity book that uses dry erase marker. He unfortunately rubbed the book on the front of his new shirt and I don't know if there's any way to get the marker out? I really like the shirt but am afraid it's ruined. Anyone else figure out how to get this out?? Thanks and Merry Christmas!

What can I do next?

IMMACU-10. I've taken black permanent ink from a white sweatshirt with it. Took pink stain out of the carpet from silly string just this afternoon with pretty much no problem whatsoever.

Enzyme based not chemical based. AWESOME STUFF. I use it for my laundry, floors, windows, carpet cleaning and everything under the sun except the toilet (no disinfectant). Anyway.........where are you located?

You can't buy it in stores.

I use Krud Kutter for many things. You could give it a try. I also soak clothes in hot water and Clorox 2 for colors. I generally have good success with that.

Try alcohol or hairspray. But it may be too set to remove.

According to the dry eraser company's web site, you can use Murphy's Oil Soap. My daughter wrote her name on her brand new pillowcase and it worked. I just used a toothbrush and scrubbed.
Good luck.

My daughter wrote with dry erase markers on the carpet awhile ago and in my search to find suggestions for removing it, I tried Dry Erase cleaner (many markers come with a small spray bottle for cleaning boards) or just plain rubbing alcohol. It seemed to work best if you treat it directly on the spot before washing it at all. Otherwise it took several tries to really get it out. Good luck.
