Referral for OBGYN in the Blue Springs Area & Hospital/birthing Center

Hello~ I am sure you will get plenty of advice on this question. I have gone to Independence Women's Clinic for about 5 years now and i love it! The office is at Centerpoint Medical Center and that is also where they do their deliveries at. It's not in Blue Springs-but only takes about 10 minutes to get there from Blue Springs. I really like all the doctors in the practice but i would recommend Dr. Trout, Dr. Hall, or Dr. Gutknecht. They are all really really wonderful doctors and i think you would have a great experience with any of them! Hope this helps. Dr. Trout delivered my 2nd baby and Dr. Hall delievered my 1st but Dr. Gutknecht is my actual Dr. You would especially love Dr. Trout if you are looking for a Dr. who is a woman-the other two are men. I delivered my first son at Saint Mary's here in Blue Springs and Dr. Wagner from Hauscher,Brady & Associates delivered him. Their office is now at Centerpoint, but I belieive they still deliver at SMBS. I had to have our second son at centerpoint due to insurance change. The same group of doctors delivered him as well, but I know that the one that was supposed to deliver him was caught at SMBS delivering another baby.So they had to call the office doctor to come over and deliver Josh!! We are not having any more kids! But I would highly recommend this group!!

I go to Dr Doan - she is in Blue Springs on 40 highway - office is called Associates Women's Healthcare I think. She delivered both of my kids and was wonderful. Hope this helps!

I too go to Hauser, Braby and Associates they are located next to Independence Woman's Health Clinic in Centerpoint. I have been to both Centerpoint and St. Mary's and loved both hospitals and all of the doctors in this group are great my doctor is Dr. Carpino she delivered my second and Dr. Wagner delivered my first. I had to have a c-section with my first and had one with my second you will need to ask them what their phylosophy is on vbacs I didn't even ask I just sceduled a c-section did not want to go through what I went through with my first and ending up having one. So I don't know what their practice is on vbacs I would ask.
