Hi!

Any ratings on which is better in this area? Gymboree, My Gym or Little Gym. None are really close to the Bee Cave/Galleria area, so are they worth the drive?

I belonged to Gymboree in SoCal and then a My Gym later on there. I loved taking my son to their classes. Is there anything else recommended near Bee Cave, Lakeway, or Galleria area?

What can I do next?

Hi L.,

I live in the Falconhead development. I have taken my daughter to My Time Kids http://www.mytimekids.com/ in the past. I moved away for a year and just returned. During that year, we went to a local My Gym and loved it. I wish one was closer to our area now, but the closest one is off Lamar/Ben White area. You can check out a free class at My Time Kids. Lorie is the owner and she is wonderful.

We also belong to a the local Mom's group http://www.meetup.com/Bee-Cave-Lakeway-mom-meetup/ They have a variety of activities all the time. We are a very active group.

Welcome to Austin and take care,

V.

Hi.I had birthday parties at My Gym and the Little Gym. I liked My Gym better but couldn't afford time and money for a membership. They are a little far away. I am in the Falconhead area now. I was in Oak Hill.

I am part of a mom's group that has gone to a new establishments called 3F fitness. It is on Wiletka Drive off of Hudson Bend Road. www.fitness3f.com ###-###-####.
Also, I saw a flyer advertising a new fitness for mommy and baby in the Galleria the other day. I am a trainer and would like to get my kids involved, but I know my almost 3 year old has disrupted the classes every time I've taken him. Better for him (and me) to run him outside and at the park.

Hope you find a good gym.
L.

Bodhi Yoga in the galleria has great toddlers/kids classes. And, if you want to stick around, you can take an adult yoga class at the same time.

You should look into Jump Gymnastics on Manchaca close to Lamar. It's really fun and they learn jumping on trampolines, hanging on the bars or rings, etc. My daughter is 2 1/2 and loves it!
