Preschool in Wellington Area?

My daughter is 3 and she's finally ready to start preschool. I had wanted to start her around 2 or 2 1/2 because she's a little ahead and I want her to have every opportunity to learn more and more. Now that she's 3, she's mentally ready and finally completely potty trained and very excited about school.

We live in Wellington and I'd love to have her as close to me as possible. I work from home so she's with me all day and I'm pretty nervous about having her go to school and be away from me! Anyway, I am looking for something in the Wellington/Royal Palm area, hopefully something that offers a 2 (MAYBE 3) day a week program. She's never been to daycare or anything so I don't think she'd be happy with more than 3 days right off the bat. Any recommendations would be much appreciated because I am at a loss and the school year starts up again in August. I prefer schools that aren't TOO expensive (I looked into The King's Academy but the price is INSANE) but I will look into every school that is recommended to me. I want to find the best fit for her and someplace that I will be comfortable and happy to have her go.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

My daughter was born 3/2/04 and we put her in the Children's House of Wellington (CHOW) located in the old Wellington Mall on Forest Hill and Wellington Trace. I can not say enough positive things about this preschool. You should call and set up a visit. I am an elementary school teacher and have done tons of research on schools and found out that this one was wonderful!! From my daughters experience, this has proven to be true. She is now telling me that she really misses school!

Hi K.,
I just wanted to tell you that we had a terrible experience at cambridge. I would not recommend that school. The teachers leave after your child is used to them. We had a terrible teacher one year and the director was not helpful at all. That was just my experience. Just thought you should know. Good luck with your search!!! Hope I could be of some help.

Look into IDEAL Elementary at www.idealelementary.com
This is a private pre-school, elementary and middle school. It seems very interesting and would have loved to send my children there if it wasnt such a distance for me to travel. There is a great story behind the school also.
