I'm looking for a photographer to take semi-nude but covered pictures of me pregnant with and without my husband. Reasonable prices, female photag and private studio are a plus. Any recommendations?
I got some great recommendations and contacted several but before booking anything, my husband wanted to try his hand at taking the pics and he did such an amazing job, we're not booking anyone! I would highly recommend this excercise. Even if you don't end up using the pictures taken, you'll get a better idea of how you look with your new and more curvy body:)

I did the same thing with my second pregnancy of myself, with my husband and with my 18 month old. I was extremely pleased with Jody. It was very reasonable and the pics were great. She took over a hundred pics (probably over 200), and gave me a CD with the rights to print where ever I choose for just $95. The pictures were in color and black and white. I highly recommend her. She is in Morton Grove, but worth the visit, she might travel too for a higher fee.
I was also really please with my photo album that I made from mypublisher.com. Nice quality of print, better than snapfish I thought.

If you are looking for more options, you might want to search prior posts. I posted this question about a year and a half ago and got a lot of responses. Not sure how far it archives. I found the other recommendations to be too expensive. And again I was really pleased with Jody.

Wow you have a lot of choices here but I will add one more to the mix. I used Modern Madonnas for my pregnancy pictures. She is not cheap but she is AMAZING. It was worth every penny that we spent. My friend does a great job. She comes to your house and has a backdrop. She has some proofs in her website. She gives you a free 8x10, the disc of proofs, and like I said she comes to your house. Can't get more private than that. I think it's $100-150, but email or call her to find out for sure. She's coming over this Saturday to take my prego pics outdoors.

The lady I have used for my son is Amy Tripple. Her website is www.amytripplephotography.com. She lives in La Grange, and has an in-home studio, but she also does travel. She offers the prints on disk & dvd copyright free as well as offer printing services. While I myself have never used her for prego shots (just for my cutie-pie almost 2 year old), her website has quite a few galleries with those particular shots in them.

Elise and Rob are both fabulous. Rob does do the actual photography and his wife Elise is there for set up, etc etc. They are fabulous and do this type of photography.
Very reasonable and very professional with a private studio.
We have had both children taken by Rob and I have loved and cherished every photo. Orland Park area and worth the drive if you are not in their vicinity.
