I need suggestions about good dental plan that is easy to contact and talk too. I also need recommendation of good, pediatric dental clinic in this eastvalley area( mesa/ tempe/Chandler/Scottsdale). I got stuck with the front lady from a pediatric clinic, who is not informative at all and delay my son's treatment.
I also need to know your experience if you have no insurance and you had your child being sedated and treated. How much did you pay for general anaesthesia, fillings, extraction and crowns? I need to allocate the money.,thanks

What can I do next?

Oh my, I was going to say most dental plans cost far more than they ever pay out, not so much if you are talking about general anesthesia.

I could go to work tomorrow and ask what we charge but that would be what you would pay for out of pocket in St Louis, ya know? I know most doctors take payment plans.

Your best bet is to find a dentist, then find out what anesthesia group they work with and contact them directly.

Okay, don't laugh at his name, but he is the BEST pediatrice DDS I have found. My 6 yr. old was just in there on Monday and recieved 4 pulpotimy's and 4 crowns, all at the same time. I called around trying to price out Ped. DDS and Most pediatric DDS will tell you that you would have to come back twice because doing 4 puls and caps in one sitting is to hard for the child. NOT TRUE! It only took an hour and he was good to go. I was glad not to have to pay for the sedation twice. Once was expensive enough ($184 w/o insurance for oral sedation). Anyway, he was an honest DDS that doesn't do any procedures unless he really feels it is necessary.

His name:

Dr. Brett M. Quackenbush (remember, don't laugh!) :-)

I only know of ours who is in Gilbert, which you didn't list as one of the towns you are looking. My husband also sells Aflac and they have a dental plan. Message me if you are interested and I can put you in touch with him. =)

We LOVE Dr. QUackenbush in Gilbert. He is SO fast and efficient. He did my son's 3 root canals and 5 cavities. It cost $1900 total for all that work (we paid less since we had insurance). We did get dental insurance since he needed so much work done, but we don't usually carry dental insurance since it is usually cheaper just to pay as you go than pay the high monthly premiums for dental insurance.

Maybe you can just have a dentist pull the tooth out instead of paying the high cost of a root canal and crown. If he's in that much pain, the cavity is probably beyond a normal filling.

We brush our son's teeth twice a day , but he just unfortunately has bad teeth. Plus he kept sneaking fruit leather after we put him to bed. We put an end to the sneaking and now floss his teeth regularly.
