I am starting a playgroup in the Tampa area (close to stadium) for kids 1-2 years old. I have an 18 month old daughter, and I would like to find new friends for her, and also us adults to socialize and have fun! The meetings would be on the weekends, since I do work full-time. You can go to meetup.com and set up a group on there under moms/stay at home moms. I run a playgroup on there as well.It's very easy. Good luck.

I would definitely be interested in a play group! I am 27 years old and I have a 16 month old son, Austin, who loves to play with other kids. Unfortunately, he's not good without my husband or I (or immediate family) around, so I am dying to begin to reacclimate him to new people! I live near the airport, so the stadium area would definitely work for me.
This may sound stupid...but what exactly do you do in a play group? And, where do you go with children our age? I am definitely up for something fun! :)
