Pediatrician- Superior/Louisville Area

I have a 3 year little girl that is very prone to sickness. We have been going to the same pediatrician since she was a baby but they have not been as attentive as I think they should. My daughter has been on antibiotics consistantly for the last three months, which isnt healthy and my pediatrician keeps saying that she is getting "viruses". I believe there is a big difference between common viruses and needing to be on antibiotics. Therefore, I am looking for recommendations for a good pediatric clinc in my area.

What can I do next?

We go to The Pediatric Center at Foothills Comm. Hospital in Boulder. There are 4 doctor's there, I know people who've gone to each of them and all seem to like them. You can interview them at no cost as well. We see Dr. Beuf. thepediatriccenter.net I find it odd that someone is prescribing antibiotics for viruses when they don't usually do anything for a virus. Most viruses have to run their course. I live in Lafayette, it's about 15 minutes to Boulder and from Lousiville/Superior on hwy 36 to foothills parkway it isn't that far.

Good luck

A. - I've been taking my 2 yr old daughter to Cornerstone Ped located in the Avista Hospital. They have 4 drs so far we've seen Dr Mezzerina (female) and Dr Miller (male). Both have been great and listen to my concerns. Hope this helps, and I hope it's not where you were going before.

I take my kids to Mountainland Pediatrics - they have a Louisville branch. It has one Dr. (actually I think she is a PA). Her name is Karen (I can't remember her last name). She is very good with my kids - always takes a lot of time, answers all questions etc. We live in Westminster and I was going to start looking for a new pediatrician and then one day I needed my kids to be seen and Mountainland's Thornton branch couldn't fit them in so they sent us to Louisville. I liked her so much I decided to stay with Mountainland and now I drive from Westminster to Louisville for all my kids appts.

The number is ###-###-#### and the address is 335 W S. Boulder Road, Louisville.

I hope this helps.
