Try Sue's Corner in Pelham. She has been selling personalized gifts for ages, and has a huge selection. For entertainment I have used Ms. Ria who will play guitar and your favorit kids songs. If you e-mail me, I can give you her number. Also for my son's 4th birthday I just did The Nature of Things. They brought a variety of small animals for the kids to learn about and touch.

I just got personalized favors for my son's first birthday party. I used http://littleshopoffavors.com/ and Stacey was great!!! She's so easy to work with and accommodating. I was surprised how fast she was able to finish my order. She also wraps every favor to look like a present.

I ordered the piggy banks and they were a huge hit! They are so adorable.

I have had "Chuckles the Clown" to my house a couple of times for my kid's parties and he is fantastic. Does magic, face painting, interactive games with the kids, is fully dressed as a nice clown (not scary) and brings his own music. Pretty reasonable - ###-###-####.
