Looking for leads on good nursing bras. I am looking for a supportive cotton nursing bra - something that I can wear at night and during the day. Would like to buy online - if possible.

What can I do next?

I used Bravado, which are very comfortable but I didn't think offered enough support, even though I'm not very "well-endowed." I also tried Medela -- they have one with an underwire which was scary (talk about "lifts and separates" ...yikes). Medela also has one without an underwire which I found to be just enough support and you can also wear it at night. You can get them at jcpenny.com and it seems like they always have discounts if you sign up for their e-mail list.

I also have to recommend the Bravado Bras. I actually got mine at United Hospital and got fitted there too. I really encourage you to get fitted no matter where you go because I was way off on my bra size.

I believe they are called Bravado-they're awesome! I wore mine 24 hours a day and quite comfortable. You can buy them at Park Nicollet Stores (I'd call the store to make sure they have them before sending someone out to buy). It was the only nursing bra brand I owned for my second child, after trying several! Good luck!

I highly recommend www.breakoutbras.com They were very helpful to me when I was looking for nursing bras. Send an email.

I personally like the Medela brand, but I think it depends on your own size and shape, which is where Breakout Bras was helpful.

I will say that I found the Bravado bras not supportive enough, but my "nursies" are pretty big :)

I also love my bravado bras, I bought them just to sleep in but they are so comfortable and support quite well. You can get them online, I got mine at the breastfeeding resource center at Children's United Hospital(free fittings limited hours ###-###-####).
Best of luck, I know how hard finding the right fit can be.

Motherhood maternaty (sp?) has a great website and fantastic nursing bras, my favorite was a really comfy cotton nursing bra to wear to bed. It looked kind of like a sports bra (the v-neck) but it wasnt restrictive and you just moved the fabric out of the way to nurse, very comfy if you want to sit in a chair or stay laying in bed!

good luck! N.

depends on how big you are. I was very picky and didn't like the look of the bravado bras that came in the big size-I am very petite and was huge! I went to Nordstrom got fitted and found a fantastic nursing bra by Le Mystere. Can also be found at figleaves.com It was pricey but well worth it if you need good support. You need to get fitted, most women are way off on their sizing. Since I was pregnant, nursing and now have lost my weight I have gone through 5 different sizes! Good luck!

I bought Medela when my son was first born, I loved them, although they were pretty big and bulky, but VERY supportive. I suggest going to one of the breast feeding centers/resources that was listed by the other moms for a fitting, that is very helpful.

After a few months (and I was not so huge), I prefered some of the less bulky styles and found several at Marshal Fields Maternity that I really liked, and they did a fitting for me as well. Fitting was hard, as I was measured at a 34 E, which of course nobody carries, so I had to adjust cup/band size to find a good fit.
