NICU Babies?

Hi L.!, Congrats on the two beatiful boys. I Also had twin boys who were in the NICU for a pretty long time. My boys were born at 28weeks, one was in the NICU for 3months and the other 6months he was very ill. Anyways Stay strong, cry when you need too, and realize these nurses are the best baby sitters money can buy. I know its hard to leave and you think you need to be there all the time but you need to take care of yourself too. Know the nurses wont think bad of you if you exausted and can only stay for a bit. You have to be ready to take the little guys home and its only fair if your rested and revived for that wonderful moment. The NICU became my second family, these wasnt anyone who I wouldnt trust my life with. I think our children are so lucky to get such wonderful loving care. I thank god for all of the staff, I know if it wasnt for them I would have lost it many times. Im sure you are doing great. They have lots of forums and stuff. I hope your boys are doing well.
