Hi moms!
I just moved here from Michigan (ahhhh...out of the cold!) and I am looking for a preschool for my three-year-old daughter. Currently, we are living in Coral Springs, but we will end up taking permanent residence (don't know when) possibly in Weston.
Does anyone have any good recommendations for a preschool in the area?
Also, I am looking for a pediatrician. I prefer someone who is kind, patient and accepting of the fact that I haven't vaccinated my son yet. Also, a doctor who is breastfeeding friendly as well! I am willing to travel and I think it would be ideal if I found someone near Coral Springs or between here and Weston. But, I am open to all suggestions. Most of all, I want someone who loves their job and who will spend time with my kids and not make me feel rushed.
Any/all advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!
ETA: I should have added that I am looking for part-time preschool (maybe 2 mornings).

Welcome to the area. My daughter's pediatricans are Dr. Cheresnick and Dr. Lian of Coral Square Pediatrics. They are next to the Coral Springs Mall which is in your area. She goes to Precious Promise Academy. She is 20 months but has been attending since she was 3 months. They have a great program. You should google their website. Good luck!
I use Sawgrass Pediatrics and we love them. We see Dr. DiLiddo, but all the docs in the practice are great. They have late hours twice a week and are open Sat morn for emergencies. Thier number is ###-###-####.

A Childrens' Carousel in Weston--there is nothing better! They truly care for the children and the school has a family friendly and caring atmosphere. Dr Linda Colon and Dr Richard Presutti in Coral Springs. Dr. Colon is a holistic ped as well as a regular ped MD, and Dr. Presutti is big on prevention and nutrition as well. Welcome to Florida. I live in Weston and the pre-school my daughter goes to is St. Paul Child Enrichment Center. It is a great school with wonderful teachers. I have sent all my kids to this school. It is 5 days a week, but only from 8:30 - 11:45. I know some people think 5 days is a lot of days to be going to school for their first time, but once they know there routine they love going to this school. My daughter rushes me out the door before it's time.
As for a pediatrician my kids go to Pediatric Assoc. here in Weston. There doctor's name is Dr. Khan, and she is great with the kids.

i lovemy pediatrician. dr cotler and dr cadiz in the coconut creek office of pediatric associates. the day care my son goesto is kinder care. the are also in coconut creek. it is good. he is in the two's hopefully will move up some day and i pay about 200 a week. that includes meals. it is cheaper i nthe three's as long as they can poop and pee on potty.
