I went through DARS which is in Carrollton and they referred me to a psychologist off of Coit and 635 area. It lasted all afternoon but it was well worth it.
I was diagnosed as a child with ADD but rediagnosed in 2006 with ADHD.

I would suggest you go to a Psychologist.
I hope this helps,
M.

Nothing for your area, but in general, I would suggest that you you see either a developmental pediatrician or a psychaiatrist and nueropsychologist together. Also, you are much better off going in to see a professional asking for testing to find out what is going on and telling the professional what you see, than you are to limit the evaluation to what you as an untrained layperson suspect, as you might miss something important and delay appropriate treatment.
