Need Opinions on Which Consignment Sale to Sell My Items At!

I have many items to sell from infant clothes to crib bedding and want the "least hassle" consignment sale to sell my things at. Can anyone recommend one? Also, many of the sales keep most of your money, so which ones give you most of your sale proceeds back?

What can I do next?

go to "emily's closet" on 141, by barnacles...across from the shops at st. ives. laury, the owner is so great..sweetest person you'll ever meet. she sells great stuff...no hassle. i bring my daughter's things there, and buy alot more. there are lots of those shops around, but none with anyone as sweet as laury.

Have you thought about a yard sale, you will not have to pay commission and can get all the profits. People love things for babies and kids. You could have it in your garage on a Friday and or just a Saturday.

The absolute best consignment is the boutique armoire sale. check out www.boutiquearmoire.com They will be having two sales in august, one in cumming near vickery and one in gwinnett off of peachtree ind. they do only take high end clothes- gymboree and up. but it is the best one to shop at also- you can get really nice boutique brand clothing for a great price. they do keep 30%, but i think they all do.
there is also a place called emily's closet off of 141 near barnacles that i have heard great things about. not sure how it works, but was planning on trying it with my leftover items. good luck!

several places will pay cash for your stuff then you don't have to worry any further. I like that! There is one over by Town Center Mall, kinda far but a great store! It is called Tadpoles. Good luck.

Have you thought about ebay? The listing fees are low so you get nearly all the profits.

how about making a garage sale?

I sell at Midway United Methodist's sale and have had good results.

I highly recommend that you look for a church that does a consignment sale. One church that I have been to, but is up in Cumming is Midway UMC. They have a 70/30 slipt (you keep 70) and the amount they keep is tax deductible for you as a donation. Check online for churches that may be closer to you. North Springs UMC in Sandy Springs also has a consignment sale coming up in September. Hope you have success! Oh---most consignment stores are about 60/40 split---you get 40.
