Not sure on family doctor but their is a great pediatrics. They might be able to point you in the right directions. I love them I take my 3 mo old son there. They are really nice people.
They also have classes that you can take with your baby's. Check out their website.

Try Union Ave Pediatrics.... They are WONDERFUL!!!! They are right off of 19th and Union (a few blocks down).
Great caring staff, and everything you could possibly need is right there.
I took my 7 year old there last year for the first time and he was assesed as needing some counseling after some difficult family times and they had a counseling center right there!!! (not that that is what you are looking for, but just an example of how well rounded they are for your child's care)

If you are looking for a good Doctor in Tacoma, you should go up to St. Joseph's hospital. They have a doctors office there. They have a few good Dr.'s there.

My family Dr. is at the Tacoma Family Medicine clinic, they are just one block down the street from Tacoma General. Her name is Dr. Stacy Snowden, ###-###-####. She was my OB and now is my regular Dr. and my son’s pediatrician. I trust her very much and she is very caring.
