Girls
Faith Noelle
Brooklyn Kennedy
Alaina Faith

Boys
Bowen Daniel( this would be after my late mothers Maiden name)
Boston Daniel
Brady Daniel
Brody Daniel

Some of you may not like any of the names, but out of the ones listed which one would you prefer.....I would love the input from other people.
Thanks in advance

So What Happened?

Wow...what an overwhelming number of responses. Thank you all so much. I am leaning more toward Faith Noelle. You don't hear that name alot anymore for little girls. I am also REALLY leaning towards Bowen Daniel, and will probably call him Bo for short. My other 2 Kids names are Breanna Grace, and Bryson Matthew....just by coincidence that they both start with BR....my husband liked Brooklyn Kennedy because it went well with the other 2 names, I however do think it sounds like a bridge or an airport as previously mentioned in a few responses. Once again thanks to you all, and please keep the suggestions coming because I still have 4 months to make a final decision, and hearing other peoples opinions really helps me alot with trying to make the right choice:)

I am glad to see you are going with uncommon names. I am in the same boat, my husband and I will find out in about 3 weeks. But he would like to carry on the tradition from his grandfather's name if we have a son, which would make the Baby the 4th. I like Alaina Faith and Brody Daniel. Best of luck

Well I like Brooklyn Kennedy, it's very unique and not common atleast not a name I hear a lot plus she can have a nickname. I also like Bowen Daniel for the same reason unique, not common and he can have a nickname.

I see why you are having are hard time, but my personal favorite is the names with Faith in them. I named my daughter Faith and chose it mainly due to the fact that you don't hear it anymore plus other reason that just seemed fitting at the time. It was funny to read this cause one of the other names I was thinking about naming my daughter was Alaina. As far as the boy names go I do like Bowen Daniel and Brody Daniel. Good Luck with whichever name you chose. It's so hard to make that decision, it's a name they will have for the rest of their lives! A.

It would really help if we knew your last name because it has to flow with that as well. But just going from the names you have above, I would choose Brooklyn Kennedy for a girl (absolutely love that name) and Brody Daniel for the boy. I really like all of the names you have but those are my favorites. I, evidently like you, do not like traditional names. I have an 8 yr old son named Coleman Alexander (Cole for short) and my 9 mos old daughter is Reagan Lorraine.

Good luck on choosing your name (and finding out the sex of your baby).

OOOHHHH This is fun!!!

For a girl I am partial to Alaina (my daughter is a Na'Layna)
For a boy I like Bowen. I am strong for family type names. Both of my kids are named after family in atleast 1 part of their name. I think that is important. We were stuck on 2 for our second and ended up deciding to wait until she was born and name her which ever we thought she was and Jazlyn is definetly the right one for her. Good luck and congratulations in whichever name you choose.

I personally like Faith Noelle or Alaina Faith. I don't like names that are cities or countries or "regular" words like Brooklyn, and Boston. Faith is pretty though, and makes you think of a pretty, calm, sweet little girl. Bowen doesn't sound like a first name to me. I think people would always be asking what his first name was, and how to spell it, and what does it mean, etc. Brady I think of the Brady Bunch, but I do have a friend that has a boy named Brady. My pick is for Brody Daniel of the ones you have picked out. You seem to like Daniel, how about that for a first name? Remember that you don't have to decide until the baby comes out. We couldn't decide on a name until our daughter was over 24 hours old. I wanted to wait and see what she looked like and see what fit, and her name definitely suits her (Greta Kathryn).

With Faith ppl might call her Fay so keep that in mind My oldest sons name is Gideon and we thought hey no nickname great and ppl call him Gid, i Hate it. for a boy I'm partical to Brody, there is one in my daughters prescool class and I jsut think it's a great name. Good luck, also watch trends, with two older kids go through their class photos and check names, how many are there with the same name? it can help you rule out soemthing that everyone else is using right now. congrats.

First of all Congrats! Names are so much fun!!!
Personally, I like either Faith Noelle or Brooklyn Kennedy. However, Brooklyn is becoming more popular and she might end up being 1 of 4 in her class..just something to think about. Faith is more classic. Again, I like both.
For a boy, I like Brady, Brody isn't bad either, but Brady would be my pick. I went to school with a Brady 20 years ago and I liked the name then.
Good luck and which ever name you pick it will be perfect for your angel.

Hello J.. I most certainly did not read all of your responses so far, so I apologize if I am a repeat. This is my suggestion:
A) Yell the names, as I am sure you will yell your child's name manny times over the next 30 years. See which one you like to yell the most :)
B) Do any of the names (I see one does) have any special meaning to you or your husband?
C) Do you want your child to have a common or unique name? If you go to the SS Administrations web cite you can see how many ppl named their baby what name over the last several years.
D) As I told my oldest daughter when I was pregnant with the youngest, and this is the MOST IMPORTANT, it doesn't matter what the baby's name is, we will love her/him the same and God will always love us!
Hope that helps some Congrats on the new baby!

I'm really into different names, so my favorites are Brooklyn and Boston, especially Boston. My Husband likes Faith and Bowen. I guess the big thing about choosing is if you don't want to constantly correct pronounciation, or you don't like the forseeable nicknames, like "bow" for bowen, pick something simple.

Though I am semi partial to Alaina, as an A. I'm very aware of exactly how many ways that name can be miss pronounced, although ;) since I named my daughter Aizlynn, with a silent "i", maybe I'm a glutton for punishment.

Good Luck in choosing!

Well, this is fun! Thanks!

Faith Noelle and Alaina Faith are similiar in their "feel". They are smoother, softer, more sensual names. Brooklyn Kennedy is a harder, solid sounding name.

Boston Daniel is the male equivalent to Brooklyn Kennedy, but sounds backwards. He would have trouble with first name last, last name first stuff all his life. Boston Daniel also sounds like a dog breed- a Cocker Spaniel Boston Terrier mix. What about Bowen for the middle name instead of the first? Brady Bowen, Brody Bowen, or Daniel Bowen?

My vote:

Faith Noelle (but Alaina Faith is a close second.)
Brody Daniel

Wow, not until my husband and I were thinking of names for our second son had we heard of using Bowen as a first name. I asked my husband one day what his Grandmothers maiden name was; so that we could possibly use it, and he said Bowen. Then the other day a friend of his said that he and his wife were thinking of naming their first Bowen...funny how such an uncommon name becomes 'common' when you start to think of using it! Good luck choosing a name! We are having a hard time here as well!

don't forget to try all the nicknames you can come up with to see if they fit and aren't mean or something he/she could be teased about. also initials - make sure they don't spell something mean or crude. ask your older kids what they think - but of course, it is you and your husband's decision. example, I decided not to keep my maiden name when I got married, because my initials would have been E.T.A., and I'd always been teased about being E.T. good luck, and congrats on the new baby!
