My finacee and I have chosen either Kharo or Traeh for boy names. We were in the same dilema. We wanted something new but not too different. Traeh by the way spells heart backwards, which we really like because we want our son to have heart. Hope these help

Funny Michelle should bring up X-Men. We seriously considered naming our son Charles Xavier. That idea did not last long for us, though.lol We named our son Liam. It seems to be gaining popularity each year, too.

I wanted to name my 2nd son Xavier, only my oldest son could not pronounce it. Its differnet, not heard alot, but not way out either. I also like the names Cooper, and Caden for a boy. I like the name Darcel Renee for a girl. I hope this helps.

My husband and I had problems picking names with my last pregnancy. BTW I have 4 1/2 yr old triplets. Isabella Sage was easy cause he just let me have my way, but we couldnt decide on the boys names at all. We ended up with Logan...I liked it and brought it up and OF COURSE it is Wolverine's real name from the XMEN so that was ok. lol But we kept going round and round on our other son until Jim heard someone's last name and fell in love with it and I did too. Our other son's name is Brody. Good luck with choosing names.

I am pregnant right now and due this Firday. Some names we are throwing around for a girl are Sloane, Lacey, Sawyer, Grace, Peyton, Lucy. Best of Luck. It is a hard decision. Go with your gut.

I feel for you being stuck on a name. I also had this problem with my third child. Kid you not I was actually in labor sitting in my bed STILL looking at the baby name book I had. Poor kid was almost two hours old before he had a name. BTW we picked Devin Austin.
We tossed around the idea of Briar, but we lost that when the ex wife heard it from my step children and a month before ours was born that is what she named her's. My mom works in the Peds out patient surgery and there are alot of Braydons and Emmas latley. One that struck me as kinda cute was Brooklynn for a little girl.
They are also going with
Logan, Jordan, Tyler, Keegan, Reagan, Riley, Peyton, Taylor, Cori, Toni, Andi, Sheridan for girls. Seems to be more girls are getting named the traditional boy names. A friend named her little girl Nevaeh (heaven spelled backwords).
You could also change the spelling of a common name for example I have seen Emily as Emmaleigh, Emmaly, Emileigh.
My brother and sister in-law took their names and added them toghether with her mom and mine and ended up with BreAnn Renee(combo of Bryan, Heide Ann, and my mom's middle name Renee) You might look into taking your two names and see what you can make with them.
I have also seem lots of Baily, Colton, Colby, Carson for boys. There is also Kale, Cade, Harrison, Thompson, Blake for boys.
I hope some of this helps, but if not you can always go to your library and check out a baby name book like I did. This way you get the use of the book and don't have to pay for it.

We have 3 kids, Shelby, Hunter and Seth. With our third we had a hard time choosing a name, I really liked the name Fisher but with Hunter we thought they would be teased. The other name I like for a boy is Fletcher. A girl name I like is Isabella. I wish you luck with the name choosing and also with the rest of your pregnancy.

They have some really neat names on soaps now a days! I have 2 boys and a girl. We went with common names for our boys, Austin John and Daniel Scott. With our daughter well...we named her Ivvy Mae. The only thing I would change maybe is that we spelled it with 2 v's so now she always has to spell it for people, on a good note if some one does spell it wrong she tells them it's ok :)

When I was pregnant I always watched the credits at the end of movies or sitcomes. That helped me with my daughter. Her name is Mikayla and my other daughter was named after my husbands mother that passed away. Her name was D. Elaine and my name is also D. so it was a sure no way on the first name and I thought Elaine was too old of a name for a baby so we blended them and made Elainna. At the time(1987) I never heard the name and now it is popular. And Mikayla(1989) I changed the spelling (Michaela) because my husbands name is Michael. And now Mikayla's are everywhere. When I was pregnant we also had problems naming her. Our final desition was what hair color she would had determaned what her name was. He wanted Whitney Beth and I was OK with that but liked Mikayla Amber. So I said(one week before the due date) what color hair do you want her to have and he said blonde so I said if she has light colored hair or no hair it is Whitney. If she has dark hair it is Mikayla. She came out with dark brown hair. My favorite name that my husband has hated has always been Byanca. Congrats on the baby and enjoy them they grow up fast.

Hey my bf and I had baby name issues too when we were pregnant. He wanted something not too out there and I was all about odd names. But we met in the middle and our son's name is Seth Michael. Some other boy names that I like are, Trevor, Cayden, Cooper. Some girl names that I have heard that I think are cute and not too common are Esper, Camielle, Cadence, Shiloh,.
