I belong to Vineyard Church North Phoenix and we do a back to school outreach every year. It is part of our compassion ministries which has a food and clothing bank open to the public. Not only can you choose clothing for your son, but they supply him with a new backpack full of school supplies. I have included the link for more information...

Hi M.

About every other Saturday is 1/2 off the whole store at Goodwill. Check out freecycle on Yahoo and also check the free listings on Craiglist.

a friend of mine's mom goes to Other Mothers. every saturday they have rummage sales for a quarter for each peice of clothing and also toys. below is an email from my friend: i hope this helps! good luck

They have clothes all different sizes thru adult. They even have shoes and toys, etc. You never know what you will find. As I said people show up around 7:30 and they open at 8 am and you elbow your way through the piles. Bring a big garbage bag and you throw it in and later go through it to decide what you want to buy. It is called Other Mothers and is located at 32nd street and greenway. They have other location and they have the same thing on Saturday morning.

Hi M., We have had to really cut back since we are both insurance agents and are paid by commission only (you are in insurance so I'm sure you understand this!!). I have been going to Goodwill on Thursdays since it's "dollar" day. Whatever color tag it is that day, it's only $1. This includes clothes, funiture, decorations, etc. I have gotten brand new ski jackets for the girls for $1 as well as a SONY CD/Clock/Radio and even a "party lite" candle that is in their catalog for $85 I got for $1. So it pays to check it out. I wish you the best, it's hard times right now for a lot of us! Good luck!

What size is your little guy? My boys are size 6 and 7 and I am getting rid of size 5 clothes. We have some that are "gently used" (I don't pass on clothes unless I feel they are in good enough condition for my kids to wear-no stains, no holes, etc). If that would help you - you are welcome, just email me privately.
