Need Easy Craft Idea to Donate to Church for Fundraiser

Our church is having a holiday boutique in Nov. Now I am not a crafty type. However, the church needs more items to sell. It would be at my cost to make and then donate. So I would like to find something that is not too expensive to make and is easy enough for me to do. The church will be pricing the items. Obviously I don't want to do something they will price at .25. Anyone have any ideas or links to something I could do? It does NOT have to be holiday themed. Thanks!!!

What can I do next?

A tie blanket made from fleece, super easy and craft and sewing stores have kits.

Get a basket, add spa day stuff as in bubble bath, a bath pillow, body lotion, nail polish, tea bags, relaxing CD etc. Wrap it in shrink wrap plastic, easy just use blow dryer, add a ribbon or two.

Save wine corks, glue them together add a frame if you wish, instant cork board. Don't add a frame and you have a trivite. Make a big one and you have a doormat. You glue them together along the sides.

Use a wine bottle and drill a hole toward the bottom push sting lights in through the whole filling the bottle. Leave plug out of bottle --- ambient lighting. You can use any color bottle and any color lights. I have seen these in craft shops and they were priced at $20 and up.

Look on pinterest-there are thousands of ideas. I also get some cute ideas from the free flyers they have hanging up all over the craft stores. Since you know in advance, you could be looking for great closeout prices on some craft items and take advantage of that- that would greatly reduce your costs!

One of my friends make "Christmas tags."

You know for packages.. They collect all of the old Christmas cards and carefully cut out the cute designs, They make a small hole and slip in either colored ribbon or cords. Then they place 6 or 8 of them them in bags and sell them at the art shows..

They are so cute, They also have designed some of their own. They purchase card stock and print their own. Or glue the cut out card designs onto the card stock..

Hello!

You could look at the Michaels or Joann's site for project ideas. Both have sort options to show only projects that take x amount of time or are for a certain age group. You would get a list of the materials needed and could have at it. Or instead of making the craft, could you prepare craft kits that could be sold?

Good luck!

Get all the church ladies to give you a dessert recipe. Try to at least have 25 recipes. Collect them. Type them over and print them up for a recipe book. $5 each. If you have a printer and paper at work, you can use it so save copying and printing costs.

Sounds like a fun church!

At a craft fair some teenagers made hanging picture frames for the Christmas tree out of Christmas themed duct tape. They had snowmen duct tape, Christmas tree tape, etc. They were different sizes, starting with a size to fit a small school picture. They had a clear plastic window for the picture and a coordinating ribbon to hang it with. They were selling like hot cakes.

Maybe fabric-covered photo albums in a wedding or baby theme. There are lots of tutorials on line to make them.

Haven't seen other responses yet but you can buy tulle cheap online and make tutus. There are plenty of how to's online for no sew tutu's. It takes me maybe 40min to make one and I sell them for $15 a piece. I do a few crafts and these are my most popular item.
