Hi. I need help trying to figure out where to have my sons birthday party. He will be four in April and this will be his first party with other kids invited. We can't have it at the house. I really don't want to do Chuck E. Cheese if I can help it. I personally feel that he's not ready for that. He will want to play the games but gets to frustrated because his coordination is not quite there yet either. Also, it can get so crowded and the older kids can be horrid and not very considerate of the little ones. Help, please.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

We decided to have his party at Seabase in Greensburg. The kids had a blast. It's the same price as Chuck-E-Cheese and offers a lot more. It included: two pizzas, 3 pitchers of whatever drink you want, and the cake as well as tokens for the kids. The food was very good. The kids have access to a huge two story tunnel thing, Putt Putt, a pirate ship bounce and game room. There is also a toddler play area. For a little extra money, there is a small train the kids can ride on and laser tag. The party hostess was great. I highly recommend it.

Does your McDonald's have a party room? That is where we had my 5 year old daughter's friend birthday party. I found it very reasonable and the kids had a good time. I did have to prepare games for the kids to play but this could be good so that you can tailor it to your son's likes and abilities.

Hi A.,
I did have my son's birthday party at Chuck E Cheese in Monroeville for his 4th birthday and he had a blast. We invited 9 of his friends and had it at 12:30 on Sunday afternoon. It really wasn't busy yet so there were no older kids pushing them around. The staff did a great job organizing it. I will definately have a party there again for my kids in the future.
