Hi there, I am a first time soon-to-be mommy giving birth in late October/early November. I live on the West Side and am looking for someone excellent that is available 24/7 for about 2-3 weeks. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

go to www.sweetpbaby.com they are excellent and will find the best match for you. They are out of Calabasas, but place postpartum care all over the Los Angeles area. ###-###-####

y name is A.. I am 20 years old and a student at Santa Monica College. I am currently fulfilling my GE requirements before I transfer to UCLA to study either Child Development or Nursing. Currently training to become a Newborn Care Specialist and looking to do an internship at a discounted rate. I have worked with infants before and have experience, however I need to work with a couple more families to receive my certification. I absolutely love children and have spent 7 years caring for them, both as a babysitter and a nanny. I am now trying to pursue a career in infant care. Please let me know if you're in need of infant care help!

Experience

I have provided babysitting services for this family for two years which has consisted of playing with the children, feeding them, bathing them, engaging them in fun learning activities and putting them to sleep. Rate: $13 an hour (continue to sit occasionally)

Babysitter, White Family - 2008-2009
Occasional babysitting for one child, a girl, age 7. Provided occasional babysitting services which consisted of pick up from school, driving to activities (such as ice skating), overseeing playdates, engaging in activities outdoors and making dinner and putting to bed. Rate: $15 an hour (Left the family because I moved)
Babysitter, Halle Radcliffe — 2010
Provided occasional babysitting services for one child, age 18 months. Babysitting included making breakfast for the child, getting bottles ready, changing diapers, engaging in age-appropriate activities both indoors and outdoors and putting to sleep. (continue to sit occasionally)

Nanny, Davis Family - 2009-2010
Nanny for two children, ages 1 month (boy) and 2 years (girl) (when I began in 2009). Duties included: diapering, bottle feeding, infant baths. Oversaw sibling interaction and helped older sibling adjust to arrival of new baby. Acted as mother’s helper and also stayed with children when mother was out. Driving duties and running errands also. Rate $15 an hour (Left the family because the mother needed someone who could provide more hours, but still provide occasional babysitting when needed)

Nanny, Chee Family - 2010 (cannot provide reference as I have only recently started working for this family on the weekend - Been with the family about one month)
Provide Nanny services for two children, a girl (age 5) and a boy (age 3) Saturday and Sunday for about 8-10 hours each day. Engage with children in activities both indoors and outdoors, such as arts and crafts or going to the park. Help prepare snacks and meals and help children get ready for bed.
