If you don't mind going into Manhattan I've used the NYU optometric center. They did a very thorough exam on my son. Not sure of the phone number but you could look it up. good luck.

Dr. Mickey in Wayne. His office is innovative and he's pretty good. I'm unsure of his payment policies, however, good doctors usually charge reasonable fees when a patient has no insurance.

I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Mickey in Wayne ###-###-####). He is amazing. He is also very reasonably priced. I do not have eyecare insurance either. Good luck!
