Best dentist I've EVER had! I used to be terrified of the dentist, to the point that I eventually went years with out going. A friend convinced me that Dr. Faerber was good, and gentle, and kind. I went, and won't go anywhere else. My whole family sees him now. :) He's wonderful. Best wishes.

I have a great dentist in the Olathe area - Dr. Waters & Davidson. The hygienist I see is Becky and she is also wonderful...she's the real reason I go there! They are located on Mur-Len at about 131st.

Yes, I have a great dentist! He is especially great in numbing. I had never had a cavity till after my first child. I was very nervous going in. When I received the shot, I said "is that all?" It was very relieving. When my daughter had a cavity (and she was 6 at the time), I didn't even tell her she was getting a shot because it didn't feel like it. She went in and never felt a thing.

Hi Lynn, I got the number of Dr. Handley in Leawood, KS and I just set up an appointment myself. I received his card from some really close friends that LOVE him! You could try him. He's pretty busy though so if you need someone right away, he might not be a good choice. I was able to get an appointment for the beginning of March. They take 2 insurances: Delta and something else (I can't remember what-sorry). I hope this is helpful.

Rosana Square Dental Group in (duh) Rosana Square at 119th & Metcalf is GREAT!!

My husband has TERRIBLE teeth (could it be the 10-12 cokes a day???), so he usually has at least 2 crown/root canal type things done a year. We see Dr. Ann (Dr. Brent is good as well - they're a huband & wife team, and her dad originally started the Billingsley & Billingsley practice that became RSDG).

They are very considerate of my husband (no "bad kid" guilt trips) and his concerns which come out of a bunch of BAD work done on him by a prior dentist. They were equally understanding with me & my needle fear when I had to have my first ever filling done. I'm sure if you tell them of your history with numbing, they'll be very careful to take care of you, too. Tell 'em Mark & S. sent 'ya & I bet they'll know exactly who you're talking about!! ;)
