I'm not sure if I am pregnant but I am trying to be. I don't want to go back to my old doctor because they only deliver in Boca West and I live in East Fort Lauderdale. Does anyone know of a good OB/GYN in Ft.Lauderdale? I would love to deliver in Broward General. I am a diabetic(since I was 12) and suffered preeclampsia with my first child.

Hope all is well. I wanted to cofirm if you are pregnant. I saw you were requesting a good doctor. I have PCOS, I go to Royal Palm OBGYN and Dr. Rodriguez (Perinatal Spec). Would you still be able to watch my son? I still haven't started work. The School Board is really taking forever. I have an appt at the end of the month for orientation so hopefully I can start subbing in Nov.
Dr. Tuttelman is excellent. He'll refer you to a high risk but I'm not sure if he delivers in Broward General. Good luck and congratulations!
Broward General Offers a health line. ###-###-####. You can call them up and they can refer you a Dr. who delivers in Broward Gerneal and even tell you if they see high risk pregnancies and even if they take your insurance or not.

ANd the best thing about him is that he hears you and REALLY listens! You have to often wait for your appointment, but that is because he really gives each patient the time and attention you need!
Dr. Delisa Skeete is a great doctor who delivers only at Broward General. She usually runs on time and doesn't rush you through the appointment. Her staff is pleasant too. She's located close to Broward and 441. I don't know if she "specializes" in high risk pregnancies, but OB's are trained to deal with diabetes and preeclampsia. If she wasn't comfortable treating you, I'm sure she would refer you.

See if Dr. Moises Lichtinger at Holy Cross still does OB. He delivered all my kids and the one pregnancy was very high risk with twin transfusion syndrome and all kinds of complications. He literally saved my life, and my sons too!
I would suggest Dr. Thomas Lowe who is in East Ft. Lauderdale. He deals with high risk pregnancies and is wonderful. He has another doctor in his office. Hope this helps.
