Moving Across Country

My sister-in-law & 2 of my brother-in-laws work for Bekins van lines so maybe I'm a little biased but I think they're a great moving company. I recommend Pickens-Kane. Yes, they're expensive.

When I lived downtown, I was a board member for my condo association so we saw lots and lots of movers going in and out. Hands down, Pickens-Kane was the most professional and careful with items.

I can't help with the moving company because we used one local to our old home in VA, but I have LOTS of boxes and some packing paper to give away if you can come pick them up. We like in Oak Park. If you are interested I will send you my email address so we can coordinate.
