Mommy of a 9 Month Old.. Looking for a Playgroup..

I would love that! I have two little girls. 4 years and 8 months!

search MOMS Club. I am the president of the Denton South MOMS Club chapter. There are ones all over. We have socials, playgroups, etc. ALl during the day when you need it most. And children and 100% always welcome to every activity and event. (I have 3 boys 6 years old, 3 years old, and 5 months)

Destination maternity offers free itsy bitsy yoga classes and the Carrollton library has a mother goose story time for infants. Both of those places are excellent ways to meet others moms and babies. You can get more info on www.destinationmaternity.com and www.cityofcarrollton.com

Check out your local MOMS Club. I a in one in Flower Mound, and it is a great way to meet other moms.Also, many areas have an early child hood PTA. The Greater Lewisvile area's is called GLECPTA. You also might try taking her to the library for story time. I found a number of good friends there. We were all first time moms when we started going.

Definitely check into MOMS Club. We are an International organization, and there is probably a chapter close to you. Your local chapter can provide you and your daughter with weekly play dates, monthly meetings, MOMS Night Out, field trips, and lots of fun events. Have you thought about joining a MOPS group? We have one at The church at the Cross that meets once a month and then we have playgroups once a month too. Once you connect with some other moms that have kids the same age, you'll be able to get together with those moms more often if you want. Let me know if you need more info.

i would love to do something like that. i can't seem to find anyone that wants to. my daughter is about to be 9 months. i live in bedford. also have a two yr old son.

I second Moms Club Denton South! :) It is great and has been a lifesaver for me because it gets me out of the house and gives my son people to play with while I get adult interaction. Feel free to send a message if you want more information.

I recommend taking a look at Meetup.com. I'm a member of the Hip Mommy and Me Playgroup, and it has over 150 moms. There is at LEAST one event every single day you can attend. I would say at least 50 events per month, so there is plenty to choose from!
