Mommy and Me Type Classes for Working Moms in Boca?
Hi everyone! I would LOVE to do some kind of class with my 4 month old daughter such as mommy and me, grow with me, yoga, exercise, music - anything really. I know there are great classes out there, but they all seem to be held during the daytime. I work and can only do evenings or weekends. Does anyone know of classes offered dring those times? I feel like we are missing out! Thanks!

There's a studio in Delray off Atlantic Ave.(not too far from Boca)which offers a fabulous exercise class. It begins with a warm up walk with baby. Then you go into the studio and get an intense workout with your baby!! My friend dropped all her baby weight while taking this class. I've taken it a few times and really look forward to it.
The studio is called Powerbarre and the instructor is Kim. Call to find out more ###-###-####

I am listed under mm owned businesses and I would be willing to create a mom and baby yoga class around your schedule. Do you know any other moms in your shoes? Or perhaps we could post it as an offering here?
Please let me know what you think...

Hi Sara. I am a SAHM of a 14 month old and we do a lot of activities in and around Boca. I attend the Coconut Creek Gymboree (near west boca/Parkland) and they do offer classes there in the evening and on weekends. You can get their number and schedule on the website. Also the Recreator is the local boca raton community magazine that shows all the offered classes and you can pick one up at any Boca Park. I know they offer free story time classes one evening a week at the Boca Library. I hope that helps you.

Hi! I'm a mom of a 16 month old.
We loved Grow with Me classes (http://growwithmeonline.com/) with Tammi Stein. I'm not sure what days they are offered, but they'd be perfect for a 4 month old. She teaches in west and central Boca.
I agree with the earlier post about the Coconut Creek (Lyons just below Sawgrass) Gymboree. It's a newer facility and I think it's nicer than the My Gym and The Little Gym facilities. Heather is my favorite instructor, if you can get her. :)
Another idea would be to look on Meetup.com or other simliar sites for moms clubs in your area. I joined one in Parkland for stay at home moms and the playdates have been great. I think there are clubs in the area for working moms too!
